Biographical informationChin Hee Hong was born in about 1868 in Hong Kong. He migrated to Western Australia in 1891. He was five feet two and a half inches in height.
He lived in Broome from 1890 to 1924. He worked as a cook at Broome from at least 1911 to 1916 (E). He was recorded as a tailor in Napier Street, Broome, in 1921 (B). He moved to Darwin, Northern Territory in about 1924. In 1928 he recorded his occupation as Chinese School Teacher in Darwin.
