Biographical informationChin Bo (aka Chen Bo) was born in January 1877 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in March 1897. He was five feet eight and a quarter inches in height.

He was a partner in the Sum Sun Laundry, 74 Pier Street, Perth, before entering into partnership in the Sam Kee Laundry, 388 Newcastle Street, Perth in 1907.

In 1909, Chin Bo moved to the Gee Lee Laundry, Stirling Highway, Cottesloe (F). He was then a partner in the Hong Wah (or Chong Lee) Laundry, 62 Pakenham Street, Fremantle, and became the sole owner in 1918.

He was fined 30 shillings for 'Being Found in a Gaming House' in August 1918 (B).
