Biographical informationChew Bow was born in about 1888 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was five feet nine and three quarter inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener in Bourke Street, Leederville, in 1917 and in Charles Street, North Perth, in 1919 (B).
