Biographical information
Cheng Tai was born in October 1864 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in April 1896.
He worked as a market gardener at 13 Frogmore Street, Leederville, in 1916. He moved to Ah Sam's market garden, Bayswater, in 1918.
He was fined 20 shillings in December 1918 for 'Being Found in a Gaming House'.
