Biographical informationChen Yen (aka Chen Yin)(陳贅) was born in October 1859 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in April 1895. He was above five feet five inches in height.
He leased a market garden at North Fremantle in 1902. Later, he worked on Ah Tock's market garden, Peninsula Road, Maylands, in 1916.
He was charged with an offence relating to immigration in 1911.
