Biographical informationChen Poo was born in about 1874 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1893 or 1896. He was about five feet three and a half inches in height.

He was a partner in the Wing Hei Laundry, Bay View Terrace, Claremont, from at least 1902 to 1919 (A).

He was fined 20 shillings in June 1918 and 30 shillings in August 1918 for 'Being Found in a Gaming House' in Perth (B).
