Biographical informationChen Hoy (2) was born in September 1870 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1894. He was about five feet and four and a half inches in height.
He worked on Ah Ling's market garden, Burswood, in 1913 and in Peninsula Road, Maylands, in 1917. In August 1917 he returned to Burswood and worked on Kong Sun's market garden. Chen Hoy worked on Sam Goon's market garden, Osborne Park, in 1918 and Kong War's market garden, South Perth, in 1919.
