Biographical informationChen Chuck was born in July 1874 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1897. He was just under five feet and eight inches in height. He was the nephew of Chen Son Leong.
He worked as a market gardener on Hop Hing's market garden at Sawyers Valley from at least 1909 to 1915.
He was charged with an offence relating to immigration in February 1911. The outcome is not known.
He travelled overseas between March 1909 and May 1910 and again between March 1915 and July 1917.
