BUCK CHOW

Description

Biographical informationBuck Chow was born in May 1869 in Canton China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896.

He worked as a market gardener at South Perth in 1911. He worked: in Bulwer Street, West Perth 1916-1917; Belmont 1917-1919; for Ah Nim at Balcatta from June 1920-1921; Albany Highway, Victoria Park 1921-1922; and in Charles Street, Perth, in 1925.

He travelled overseas six times: January to December 1905; February 1911 to June 1912; February 1914 to July 1915; January 1919 to May 1920; February 1922 to July 1923; and February 1925 to April 1926. Buck Chow left WA permanently in April 1931.
