Biographical informationAh You (12) was born in about 1881 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was about six feet in height.

In 1916 he was working on a market garden in Government Street, Osbourne Park (B).

In 1918 he worked as a market gardener in Bruce Street, North Fremantle. He travelled overseas from September 1920 to November 1921. Before he travelled overseas for a second time in June 1925, he was working as a market gardener in Charles Street, North Perth. On his return, in April 1927, he worked as a laundryman.
