Description

Biographical informationAh Yook (2) was born in about 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in either 1897 or 1900 (two different dates given). He was five feet and three and a half inches in height.

He worked as a laundryman in Geraldton from at least 1911 to 1930. Recorded as working in Hop Lee's laundry, Fitzgerald Street, Geraldton, in 1918.

He travelled overseas four times: March 1905 to June 1906; March 1911 to January 1913; August 1915 to June 1918; and January 1924 to October 1926. He left WA permanently in March 1930.Other nameAh Yook, 1878- (differentiated name)Date of birth1878
