Biographical informationAh Yok was employed by F. T. Hassell at Kendenup Estate, Albany, for six months at £3 per month in 1900. In April 1900 Ah Yok was charged with attacking Thomas St Jack, the Estate Manager, and with threatening to kill a boundary rider, Henry Mason, with a knife. St Jack claimed that the assault was the result of telling Ah Yok to start work at 6am, but Ah Yok claimed that Mason and St Jack had assaulted him.
