Biographical informationAh Wing was born on 11th November 1875 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1892. He was five feet seven and a half inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener in Beachboro Road, Bayswater, in 1916 (B).

He travelled overseas twice: February 1913 to July 1914; and March 1923 to November 1924 (D).

In 1939 he was working as a cook, living at 124 James Street, Perth. By 1948 he had retired and was living at Simpson Lane off Roe Street in Perth. He stated that he was a widower.
