Biographical informationAh Whon was born in about 1876 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1894. He was just over five feet three and a half inches in height.

He was a partner in a market garden on the Norwood Estate, East Perth, before travelling overseas in 1904. He returned to Western Australia in 1905 (A).

Ah Whon was market gardening at Queens Park from 1908 to 1915 (E). In 1918, Ah Whon worked on a market garden in Green Street, Osborne Park (B). He resided at 47 Charles Street, West Perth, in 1924.

He travelled overseas a further three times: February 1911 to July 1913; October 1915 to June 1918; and February 1924 to July 1925. Ah Whon left Western Australia permanently in January 1929 (D).Other nameAh Whon (differentiated name)Date of birth1876
