Biographical informationAh Wee (1) was born in 1851 in Hailam [Hainan Island], China.

He worked as a cook at Sharks Bay and then Carnarvon before admission to the Lunatic Asylum in 1893. He was transferred to the Straits Settlements Asylum, Singapore, on ?31 August 1893.
