Biographical informationAh Tooey was born in about 1860 in China. The date of his migration to Western Australia needs further research but it is likely to be around 1880.
He was charged with stealing money from a dwelling on 15 December 1883. He was sentenced at Albany Magistrates Court to 18 months imprisonment with hard labour.
In April 1890, he was a witness at the inquest of Ah Sing (30) who died at Albany on 17 April 1890. Ah Tooey gave his occupation then as "labourer" (C).
