Biographical informationAh Tong (4) was born in about 1868 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1899. He was five feet six and a quarter inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener at Swan Street, North Fremantle, in 1917. He worked at Bibra Lake from 1918 until he moved to a market garden in Green Street, Osborne Park, in June 1920 (B).
