Description

Biographical informationAh Sue (aka Ah Suey) （亞瑞）was born in February 1875 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in August 1890. He was five feet and six inches in height.

He is recorded as having resided at Roebourne from at least 1912 to 1930 (E). Ah Sue was a waiter at the Victoria Hotel, Roebourne, from 1913 to 1920 and then at the Jubilee Hotel, Roebourne (B). In 1926 he was recorded as a shop assistant and, in 1930, gave his occupation as cook (E).

Ah Sue travelled overseas five times: December 1912 to November 1913; January 1917 to May 1918; October 1922 to October 1923; December 1926 to October 1927; and March 1931 to June 1932 (D).Other nameAh Sue, 1875- (differentiated name)Ah Suey (also known as)亞瑞Date of birth1875
