Biographical informationAh Sing William (2) was born on 16th June 1856 in Middle Swan, Western Australia. He was the son of Ah Sing William (1) and Julia Ann MacDonald.

On the 13th December 1879 he married Julia Ann Hitchcock, born August 1853, died January 1932, daughter of James and Mary Hitchcock of Middle Swan. They had eleven children:
1) Walter Henry Hitchcock (b. 1875, d. 1942);
2) William James (b. 1880, d. 1971)
3) Alice Marion (b. 1882, d. 1967)
4) Albert Edward (b. 1883, d. 1958);
5) Frederick John (b. 1884, d. 1961);
6) Francis George (b. 1885, d. 1962);
7) Emily Jane (b. 1887, d. 1974);
8) Edith Rose (b. 1889, d. 1971);
9) Margaret Madeleine (b. 1890, d. 1970);
10) Charles Arthur (b. 1891, d. 1981) (changed name to Arthur);
