Biographical informationAh Sing (8) was born in August 1856 in Canton, China. He arrived in Western Australia in June 1899. He was about five feet six inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener at Curtis Street, Osborne Park, from at least 1910 to 1924 (E), but he was away for much of this period, he travelled overseas from February 1911 to October 1920.
