Biographical informationAh Quong (3) was born 13th August 1867 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1893. He was five feet two and three quarter inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener first at 125 Mount's Bay Road, Perth (up to 1922) taking a lease together with Ah Singh on allotments L57, L58, L59, L60 and L61 as well as the space in between. The leases were of the lands of Mrs C. E. Carmichael and her brother Joseph Mannings.
After 1922 he moved to Leederville, then Osborne Park and finally in Maylands (E). In 1930 he was living in Leederville and still working as a market gardener.
