Biographical informationAh Quen (1) was born in about 1869 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in April 1895. He was five feet six and a quarter inches in height.

He worked as market gardener at Osborne Park in 1916 until February 1918 when he worked on Quong Sun's market garden, Burswood. In September he worked on Won Chock's market garden, Walliston, and Quong Wing's market garden, Osborne Park, in February 1919. In April 1921, he worked for Hop Sing at Bayswater (B).
