Biographical informationAh Moy (2) was born in about 1869 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1893. He left his wife and three children in China. He was the cousin of Pon Jack. He was five feet two and a half inches in height.
He worked as a hawker in Fremantle before visiting China in March 1907. He returned to Western Australia in September 1909.
In 1915 Ah Moy was leasing a market garden at Bayswater from McClafferty and employing Hie Dooey, Mon Yong and Ah Way (7).
He died on 15 December 1915 in Royal Perth Hospital from a fractured spine and paralysis after being run over by a cart.
