Biographical informationAh Lum (6) was born in about 1883 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1897. He was just over five feet and four inches in height.
He worked as a carter for Ah Ling & Co., Barrack Street, Perth, in 1916. In 1920 he worked for the Wing Sing market garden at Balcatta.
Ah Lum was fined 27 shillings for 'Breaching the Tax Act' in January 1918, 20 shillings for 'Breaching By-Laws' in June 1918 and 10 shillings for refusing to give his name and address in June 1919 (B).
