Biographical informationAh Loy (9) was born in June 1875 in Canton, China (in his first three CEDTs he overstated his age by ten years). He migrated to Western Australia in 1897. He was five feet eight and a half inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Burswood in 1907. Worked on a garden at Leederville in 1912. Between 1916 and 1919 he worked at Charles Street, North Perth, Lord Street, East Perth and for Pon Song at Maylands and Ah Sing at Bibra Lake.
He worked as a market gardener in Hector Street, Osborne Park, in 1925.
