Biographical informationAh Ling (4) was born on the 4th of January 1876 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was about five feet three and half inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Jandakot in 1911.
In 1916 he was working at Osborne Park before moving to Ah Sam's market garden at Bayswater in 1917. In 1918, he worked for Wah Sang at Balcatta, then for Wing Son at Osborne Park in 1920. In 1925 he was residing at Beechboro Road in Bayswater.
He travelled overseas three times: July 1918 to January 1920; February 1925 to August 1926; and March 1930 to April 1932.
