Biographical informationAh Leong was born in January 1871 in Canton, China (first CEDTs suggest 1866). He migrated to Western Australia in 1896. He was five feet three and a half inches in height. He might have been related to Gracie Ah Leong.

He worked as a market gardener at Leederville before travelling overseas in March 1902 (A). He returned in November 1902 (A).

In 1910 he was a partner in the Ying Lee Laundry, 947 Hay Street, Perth, and worked there until 1927 (E).
