Biographical informationAh King (8) was born in about 1875 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was about five feet six and a half inches in height.
He worked in a laundry in Perth before travelling overseas in November 1902.
In 1913 he had changed his occupation to market gardener and worked at Burswood until 1917 when he moved to a market garden in Suburban Road, South Perth. In 1918 he worked on Chen Hon's market garden, Peninsula Road, Maylands.
He travelled overseas three more times: January 1915 to June 1916, February 1922 to December 1923 and April 1938 to November 1939.
