Biographical informationAh Kin (5) was born in August 1874 (although CEDT files suggest later dates) in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1897 (stated 1895 in 1904 CoD File). He was about five feet and six inches in height.

He leased a market garden in Osborne Park from at least 1904 to 1918, after which he moved to Albany and worked on Ah Sam's garden in Middleton Road.

In 1920 he worked at Northam for 6 months before moving to Randell Street, Perth.

In February 1921 he started work on a garden in Robert Street, Osborne Park.

Ah Kin travelled overseas two times: February 1904 to March 1905; January 1915 to July 1916.
