Description

Biographical informationAh Kie was born in about 1859 in Hong Kong. He migrated to Australia in 1882 and then moved to Western Australia in 1898. He was five feet eight and a half inches in height.

He worked as a baker at Port Hedland in 1907. He then moved to Perth and was recorded as a market gardener at Bibra Lake in 1916 and Lion Mill in 1917 (B). From 1918 to 1930, Ah Kie gave his occupation as cook (E).

He travelled overseas three times: November 1907 to August 1909; November 1919 to May 1920; and October 1927 to March 1928. He left WA permanently in June 1930 (D).Other nameAh Kie, 1859- (differentiated name)Date of birth1859
