Biographical informationAh Hoy (3) was born in about 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1899. He was five feet and five inches in height.

He worked as a laundryman and partner in the Hang Lee Laundry at 240 William Street, Perth, from at least 1905 to 1921. He travelled overseas once, from November 1911 to July 1913.
