Biographical informationAh Hoo Willie was born in about 1858 in Swatou [Shantou], China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1887.
He applied for a CEDT to visit Singapore in 1898 (C). In 1905 he was working as a cook at Wyndham before he travelled overseas in November 1905. He returned in May 1907, (A). In 1917 he was employed as a cook on New Forrest Station, Murchison. Ah Hoo moved to Tallering Station, Mullewa, to cook in 1919 and then Meka Station, Yalgoo, in 1920. He was fined £2 for 'Being Found in a Gaming House' in Geraldton in February 1919, (B).
