Biographical informationAh Goong was born in about 1876 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1899. He was a little over five feet and six inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Bayswater before travelling overseas in August 1907. On his return in September 1908, he gardened at Lockridge where he stayed until 1919 (E). In 1921 Ah Goong was gardening at Maylands (B).
