Biographical informationAh Get (2) was born in about 1870 in China (exact location unspecified). He migrated to Western Australia in 1894 leaving his wife and sons in China. He was about five feet and seven inches in height.
He leased a property which he market gardened in Guildford in the late 1890s. Left Western Australia to travel overseas in April 1904 (A). On his return in November 1905, Ah Get worked as a laundryman in Collie until his second trip overseas in September 1911. He returned to Western Australia in September 1912 (E). Travelled overseas again between March 1915 and July 1915 (D).
It may have been this Ah Get who in 1923, aged 80, was struck and killed by a train near Eric St, Cottesloe. He had absconded from the Old Men's Home a few days prior to his death.
