Biographical informationAh Fong (5) was born in about 1880 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1901. He was just over five feet and six inches tall.
He worked as a market gardener in South Bunbury from at least 1911 to 1918 when he moved to Bayswater and worked on Ah Hong's market garden. From 1919 to 1921 he market gardened for Cheong Long in Peninsula Road Maylands.
Ah Fong travelled overseas three times: January 1912 to September 1913; March 1921 to August 1922; and March 1930 to December 1931.
