Biographical informationAh Fie was born in about 1873 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1893. He was five feet three and a half inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener in Suburban Road, South Perth from 1910 to 1912 (E). He then worked on a market garden in Britannia Road, Leederville from 1914 to 1918 (B). In 1918 Ah Fie was admitted to the Claremont Mental Hospital. On release from hospital in January 1919, he was repatriated to China (B).
