Biographical informationAh Dwo was born in about 1873. He arrived in Western Australia in 1889. He worked as a market gardener. He applied for a CEDT on 4 December 1896. In 1899, whilst in China, he applied for an extension of the CEDT. This was refused on the grounds that Ah Dwo could not read and write English, although he was a proficient English speaker, and that he had 'no vested interests' in Western Australia. Ah Dwo was, therefore, unable to re-enter WA. (C)Other nameAh Dwo (differentiated name)Date of birth1873
