Biographical informationAh Dan (3) was born in about 1875 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1887. He was five feet and nine inches in height.
He worked as a cabinetmaker for See Wah & Co, 10 Dyer Street, West Perth until 1907.
In 1912, Ah Dan was employed in a furniture factory in Roe Street, Perth. In 1916, he was described as a chairmaker and lived in Osborne Park.
Ah Dan made two visits overseas: October 1907 to August 1909; and October 1912 to June 1915.
