Biographical informationAh Cue was born in about 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896.
He worked as a market gardener at Maylands in 1914 and Guildford Road, Burswood in 1916. He returned to Maylands to work for Quong Fung in 1918.
In 1918 he was fined 30 shillings for 'Being Found in a Gaming House'. In 1919 he moved to Ah Chong's market garden at Osborne Park. In 1925 he was market gardening in Coode Street in South Perth.
Ah Cue made two visits overseas: November 1906 to January 1908; and January 1915 to December 1916. He applied for a CEDT in 1919 and 1925 but did not use it.
