Biographical informationAh Choy was born in about 1861 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896.
He worked as a cook in Bunbury from 1896 to 1912. In 1912 he moved to Geraldton to work at De Frateus Boarding House, Eleanor Street, Geraldton until 1918 when he was employed as a cook on Milly Milly Station, Yalgoo.
He returned to Geraldton in February 1919. In April 1919 he was remanded after being charged with committing 'False Pretenses'. In May he was found guilty and fined £20. He moved to Carnarvon and then Onslow in 1921 (B).Other nameAh Choy (differentiated name)Date of birth1861
