Biographical informationAh Choo was born in about 1864 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in about 1894. He was five feet and eight inches in height.

He worked as a master gardener in Wanneroo Road, Wanneroo before he went overseas in February 1902, returning in September 1902 (A). In his War registration file in 1939 it is noted that "he did not speak English". He was working as a market gardener and living at Vincent Street, Leederville.
