AH CHONG (19)

Description

Biographical informationAh Chong (19) was born on the 3rd February 1880 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1899. He left a wife in China.

He had three children in China: Ah Key (b. 1915), Ah Hing (b. 1921) and Ah Young (b. 1922). He was five feet eight and a half inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener at Osborne Park from 1899 to 1914. He then travelled to China from December 1914 to July 1916.

From 1916 until 1932 he worked as a market gardener in Collieburn.

He made an overseas visit from October 1920 and June 1922 and March 1925 until December 1926. He left Western Australia permanently in August 1932.Other nameAh Chong, 1880- (differentiated name)Date of birth3rd February 1880
