AH TAN SEE
Cook, died 1 November 1918 from pneumonic influenza. He was cremated and buried at Woodman Point. Although the first case of pneumonic influenza pandemic in Western Australia was reported in January 1919, Ah Tan See appears to be the first victim. He died at Woodman Point when the SS Charon cargo ship arrived from Singapore with 22 severe cases.
