Biographical informationKwong Tong is believed to have worked for Hie Toy & Co.
He applied to bring his sons, Ah You and Ah Lamb to Western Australia.

His son, Ah You, arrived in Western Australia from Victoria per SS Paroo in 1900 at the age of 16. As he was under the age of 21, Ah You was not debarred from entering under the terms of the Immigration Restriction Act.

Kwong Tong again applied to bring one of his sons, Ah Lamb, to WA in 1901. Ah Lamb's age was given as 17 which would make him a very similar age to Ah You. By 1901, the immigration restrictions were now under Commonwealth control and his application was refused.
