Biographical informationToy Tom was born in about 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1897. He was five feet five and a half inches in height.

He worked as a merchant in Perth in 1914 (E). In 1918 he was working as a market gardener in Belmont. He moved to Geraldton in 1920 and worked as a shop keeper in Marine Terrace (B).

He travelled overseas twice: May 1907 to August 1908; and December 1914 to December 1918 (D).
