Biographical informationChen Wing (2) was born August 1866 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1897. He left his wife and two children in China. He was around five feet five and a half inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener at Wanneroo between 1896 and 1899 then became a shop keeper at Perth. He owned property at Guildford valued at £40 in 1903. He was recorded as a market gardener at Osborne Park in 1916.
