Biographical informationAh Tun was born in 1880 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was five feet five and a half inches in height. He left a wife in China.

He leased a market garden at Bayswater before travelling overseas in April 1902 (A). He returned to Western Australia in June 1905 and resumed work on his Bayswater market garden until he travelled overseas again in March 1909.
